“I think birds are cool because they can fly. They’re the only animal that can fly, except for bats and insects. I enjoy picking colourful birds to draw. With owls, I like making the wavy lines and the texture—there’s all kinds of detail you can put into them.”
“I really like [drawing] cat eyes. I feel happy when I see wild cats because they’re free. I [also] like to draw my [own] cats so I can remember what they look like when I’m older. I like looking at the artwork more than a photo.”
